Bebe: Ferguson told me to cut my hair

Manchester United youngster Bebe has revealed that Sir Alex Ferguson made him cut his hair when he first arrived at Old Trafford.

The 20-year-old summer signing from Vitória de Guimarãe was recently called up to the Portuguese Under-21 setup and although his transfer shocked the football world, he suggests his first few weeks at the Premier League giants have been enjoyable and he is settling in well at Old Trafford.

Bebe indicated a number of Manchester United’s senior players were helping the young forward adapt to life in England, and he also revealed to reporters that Ferguson had insisted on the youngster cutting his hair.

Bebe told reporters in Portugal: “I am working hard, everyone has helped me a lot, I have adapted well, given the short time I have been there.

"The older ones help me a lot."

When asked if his new manager had asked for the prodigious starlet to cut his hair, the youngster said: “Did Ferguson make me cut my hair? More or less ...”
