[English Premier League] Huddersfield VS Bournemouth 11.2 [Copy Link]

Huddersfield Town: Defensive Woes ( Recent Form: L D L L D )
Huddersfield Town was too strong for the Reading of Jaap Stam last season after penalties and was able to promote to the Premier League. After years in the League Two, League One and especially the Championship, The Terriers have been back in the Premier League since this season, but for now it is by no means certain that Huddersfield Town will also be active in the Premier League next season. The team led by David Wagner has not won eight matches in the Premier League and only West Bromwich Albion is ranked lower than The Terriers. Last week, Huddersfield Town went to visit Manchester United in the competition. The Terriers were able to hold on for over fifty minutes at Old Trafford, but eventually went down 2-0 in Manchester. On Tuesday-evening, however, Huddersfield Town managed to beat Birmingham City in the FA Cup. Wagner saw that his team was at a disadvantage at St. Andrew's Stadium and Huddersfield Town needed an own Birmingham goal to force an extension. In the extension, however, The Terriers walked over Birmingham City and after 120 minutes of play a 1-4 score was placed on the scoreboard in favor of Huddersfield. Next week, Manchester United will visit Huddersfield Town in the FA Cup, and then the cup adventure seems to come to an end for Huddersfield.

AFC Bournemouth: Strugglers to European games ( Recent Form: W L D W W )
Bournemouth is doing a lot better in the Premier League. The Cherries are in the left-hand row and are exactly in ninth place in the English league. In the FA Cup and League Cup, the team of Eddie Howe was eliminated early this season, but that will be a concern. Last season Bournemouth was also in ninth place after 38 matches and if The Cherries could repeat that trick this season, they will undoubtedly be satisfied at Bournemouth. However, the Howe squad currently has only four points ahead of the fourteenth place and if The Cherries lose a two or three games, they can again be a relegation candidate in the Premier League. Bournemouth is currently not a candidate for relegation to the Championship and that is due to the good results of the past few weeks. Bournemouth has been unbeaten for seven games in a row and was able to win both Arsenal (2-1) and Chelsea (0-3) in that series of seven games. After the 0-3 victory over Chelsea last week, last weekend for Bournemouth, the home game against Stoke City was scheduled and The Cherries won the game 2-1. Howe saw that his team against Stoke City quickly fell behind and at Bournemouth they were lucky that they managed to win from Stoke City, because the victory was certainly not from The Cherries. Howe, who is nominated for the January leader in the Premier League, is likely to face Huddersfield Town without Steve Cook and Adam Smith. As far as that is concerned, it is just a matter of puzzling for the Bournemouth manager at John Smith's Stadium, because he should probably have it without his right back and his central defender. The expectation is that Howe will do something in his defense and that The Cherries will start in a 4-4-2 formation against Huddersfield Town.

After all, Huddersfield Town did not win this year in the Premier League yet, while Bournemouth did not lose a league game in 2018. Despite the fact that The Cherries have to miss two defenders, I think Bournemouth will cause even more problems at Huddersfield Town. I think Bournemouth 0 is just playable at this match.
