[English Premier League] Liverpool VS Manchester City 14.1 [Copy Link]

Liverpool: Four wins in a row ( Recent Form: D W W W W )
Liverpool is in fourth place in the Premier League at the time of writing. Prior to this round, The Reds had two runs behind Chelsea and the lead over Tottenham Hotspur was three points in favor of Jürgen Klopp's team. The national championship is, of course, out of sight, so they will focus on a spot in the top four at Liverpool this season. In the 1989/90 season, Liverpool was last champion in England and it is not even the fault of Klopp and his team that they will not be champion again in the Premier League this season: there is simply no measure this season. Manchester City from Guardiola. The last game that Liverpool played has been a while ago. Last week on Friday, the derby against Everton was on the program in the FA Cup for The Reds. At Anfield, Virgil van Dijk made his debut on behalf of the Klopp team and the former FC Groningen defender was immediately accurate for his new employer. Liverpool took the lead against Everton in the 35th minute by a penalty that shot James Milner behind Everton goalie Jordan Pickford. Everton, however, fully countered the ratio in the second half with The Reds and it was Virgil van Dijk who headed Liverpool to a victory in the 84th minute. Liverpool was able to win again from Everton at Anfield and since the year 1999 The Reds have been unbeaten in a home match against Everton. With Jürgen Klopp at the helm, Liverpool is most charming against the top teams in the Premier League and no top team managed to score more points against competitors than Liverpool. In addition, Klopp together with José Mourinho is the coach with the most wins against Guardiola's teams, but the Manchester City machine does not appear to stop Klopp and Mourinho this season either. Klopp had to compete against Everton without star player Mohamed Salah, but on Sunday against Manchester City the born Egyptian is just there. Salah's contribution can also use the Klopp team well: Salah was involved in 22 goals in 21 league matches this season and only Andrew Cole (Newcastle United) and Dwight Yorke (Manchester United) were involved in 21 games in the past at goals in the Premier League.

Manchester City: Three straight wins ( Recent Form: W D W W W )
Manchester City can not escape the national championship. The Citizens have 62 points and are therefore top of the Premier League. Manchester United is the pursuer of Manchester City with 'only' 47 points after 22 games and Chelsea had a backlog of sixteen points on the formation of Pep Guardiola prior to round 22. If Manchester City continues the next few weeks like in the first 22 games of this season in the Premier League, The Citizens will probably be England's champion in March and that would mean that Guardiola can focus on other cup-games for the rest of the season. Guardiola has already indicated that in addition to the Champions League he would also like to win the FA Cup and League Cup. The fact that Manchester City's Spanish coach takes both tournaments seriously turned out in the last two games of The Citizens. Last week in the FA Cup against Burnley (4-1 win for City) players such as Leroy Sané, Raheem Sterling and Sergio Agüero were allowed to start at the base of Guardiola and of course such players will not let you take minutes if you do not take the tournament seriously. Last Tuesday for Manchester City, the semi-final of the League Cup was scheduled and The Citizens won 2-1 against Championship-club Bristol City. Bristol City even took the lead at Etihad Stadium and Kevin de Bruyne scored in the second half and Agüero's hit in the injury time eventually led to The Citizens narrowly winning Bristol City. Manchester City and Liverpool met earlier this season in the Premier League and Guardiola's team managed to win 5-0 in their own home from Liverpool, so at Manchester City they will not travel to Anfield with fear and trembling. Despite the big lead from The Citizens on the competitors Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool, Guardiola would like to remain unbeaten this season in the Premier League and Liverpool-out is just such a duel in which it can sometimes go wrong for Guardiola and his men.

After all, the question, of course, is whether Klopp and his team manage to keep this Manchester City in check. At Liverpool they have of course lost Philippe Coutinho to FC Barcelona and that saves a drink. The Reds, on the other hand, now have access to Virgil van Dijk and have a few days more rest than the visitors from Manchester. I do not see Liverpool lose this game and go for the Liverpool +0.25. In addition, I also put some small change on a goal from Mohamed Salah. Now Coutinho is away at Liverpool it is attacking the Egyptian, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mané and since Salah has already made seventeen league goals this season, this bet is very playable for me.

Liverpool  VS  Manchester City

Pick: Liverpool 0.25 @ 1.92.

ENG PR    22:59    FT    Liverpool    4 - 3    Manchester City
